5 Schiphol Airport Travel Fashion Trends
Airports can be a great source of fashion inspiration just like the runway and streetstyle. I see all sorts of travellers at Schiphol Airport from avid travellers, world citizens, business class travellers to families and friends. Yet I still spotted 5 Airport Fashion Trends that will help you travel in comfort & style.
1. Jeans
Jeans are my go to travel style. They're easy to wear, it goes with everything, I can dress it up or down and it works for many fashion occasion
2. Joggers
Athleisure is the biggest fashion trend right now which means another win for casual travel fashion! Plus this gives us more variety, colors and fashion details to the classic jogger silhouettes we've all grown to love
3. Leggings
Can you wear leggings as pants? For years this was a fashion debate with no clear answers yet at Schiphol Airport many travellers style their favorite leggings with sweatshirts and sneakers.
4. Pajamas
When I was younger my mum would throw a large coat over her pajamas and go to a call center to call my family in Cape Verde. I thought she was crazy, why would anyone go out wearing pajamas? Well I guess she was a fashion trendsetter because in two weeks time I saw 3 different ladies from different countries wearing their pajamas as clothes at Schiphol Airport. When I asked one of them she said she didn't want to bother changing her clothes because her pajamas were more comfortable.
5. Dresses
With dresses you can walk out of the plane and directly go to your meeting or event without having to change clothes. Wear it with a leather jacket on the plane and when you go out you can style it with a blazer if you need to dress it up.
