Can you believe it's been 25 years since the pilot episode of Friends aired??
I've watched Friends when I was a teenager and continue to watch it to this day. Doesn't matter how many times I see it, it continues to be fun and entertaining.
So when I was travelling to Singapore I simply had to visit Friends' Central Perk Cafe! For many years the Central Perk Cafe in Singapore was the only licensed cafe outside of the US. But since 2019 marked Friends' 25 years celebration other Central Perk Cafe have opened up in Mexico City and London.
Which Friends character do you identify most with? If you have a favorite you’re in for a treat because each coffee is named after them, and even the shakes and pizzas have a direct link with the characters and story of the show.
From the nutty Phoebe coffee (that I had) to Monica's jam shake (remember when her plan was to make jam to get over her man?), the menu has a fun link with the story and I was surprised I recognized the links immediately. I guess I watched the show too often lol.
Inside Central Perk you can drink coffee (duh), eat (a Joey Salami pizza?) or watch Friends episodes right there. And as you can imagine the famous couch where Ross, Rachel, Monica, Joey, Chandler, Rachel and Phoebe would hang out is super popular and always reserved.
Before you leave turn right as you go out as you'll find Monica & Rachel's kitchen and many other memorable items from the characters and friends such as Joey's signature pick up line 'How you doing?' or Phoebe's creepy art.
